Thanks I told him no way!! He wanted to put just about everything I have out to a yard sale I told him he was crazy ( as I inherited so much)!!! He calls it all junk Smarty pants that he is. He is a wonderful guy he just would not know Clarice cliff from bakelite. My mother was a wonderful collector & I got the bug from her many years ago now it has kicked into overdrive!!

Nothing wrong with a swift kick in the proper place ever so gently' some one would have '' cleaned'' your comb collection out very quickly. theres lot's of tortoise shell which is very desirable.

D&B I like that I will have to give a swift kick to his proper place (to funny) I would not know tortoise shell if it bit me in my proper place so good to know I do have some. I guess I have a lot of home work to do on these combs. KC I Will be sure to flaunt the prices when they are sold!!!

the comb's with the cream or ivory back ground mixed with the darker brown are tortoise shell.
