Title: Is this an antique?
Post by: KC on August 17, 2009, 11:23:15 AM
Saw that ironlord's birthday was upon us.....antique or not?

I just had one myself!  Not antique yet....but feel like one some days!   :)

Happy Birthday!

Thanks,  I think I'm Vintage at least.  1963 was a good year, but Antique has to at least be 1962 or earlier I thought   ;D.  Thanks DB

Yes , ironlord qualifies as 'vintage' ... perhaps 'classic' also ....
Happy Birthday again , old-timer (ironlord1963) !

I just turned the clock another tick too .

I am 'vintage' for certain .
'Collectable' is up for debate , though .

I think 'crusty' is the description of being between vintage & antique .....

Now if only we could convince folks that we antiques are beautiful just the way we are, in our original condition, without any alterations! Lately, it seems like everywhere I go someone is trying to scrub off my patina!

Happy BD Ironlord........... ....I'm turning 63 so your not even vintage to me yet and I'm not sure what ancient is, I just hope I reach it and still know who I am. I don't regret growing old though, as many are denied the privilege.

I believe I have that dreaded furniture disease. That's when your chest is falling into your drawers! :D
