This nutcracker was given to my son by my Grandmother.I don't think it is old,however I do remember seeing it in her home when I was a kid.He was asking me if I knew anything about it,so I told him I would ask you all and see.He was just curious,and now he's got me curious.

I have one just like it. Bought 23 years ago in the US. Not worth much. Decor piece.

We love ours.....like so many things that show up on this site....it is the sentimental attachments that are priceless!!!!!

You don't know the half of it cogar. That is just that site.
Once makers saw the "saleability" of the item.....they started making them all over (China, Thailand, the list goes on)!
"Nutcracker Suite" movie made people really desire them.
