Title: gold medal folding chair

I have a wooden folding chair that was manufactured by Gold Medal Folding Furniture Co. out of Racine Wisconsin and would like any information available.

:D they were working from 1892 to the 1940's. by w gittings. sold most'ly camping equipment.folding chair's table's. etc

I have 3 of these Gold Medal Folding "Director's" Chairs. I nherited them form my Grandfather who passed in 1981. I'm 54 and remeber sitting with him in these chairs as early as about 3. I don't know when he bought them but they weren't new even then. I still use them. I used to have 4 but someone stole one from a campsite about 10 years ago. I am in the process of refurbishing them at present but can't find new rubber feet of course.
