Title: What is Losgood boston?

I have an old rocker that has 2 stamps on the bottom that reads as follows:
LOSGOOD
BOSTON

I cannot find out anything on the web so far, any suggestions?
The markings are cut in the wood....engraved.

backpockets would really need to see photos of your rocker & close up of the engraved markings.  thanks
