Can anyone tell me anything about these 2 vases?
There is '139' imprinted on the bottom as well as what looks like an 'I' or a '1'
Any info is greatly appreciated.

anyone?

Lay them down no one can see the markings.

This is the best view of the markings that i could get, they are very faint. laying down would not make it any easier to read.

Sorry, I don't see a new pic!

there is no new pic, the best view of the bottom is in the original post, thats why i also wxplained what can be seen.
anyone know ANYTHING about these vases?

The Numbers on the bottom are pattern or item numbers. Without maker marks one will have a extreamly hard time to make out date or manufacter of the items. They are wonderful looking vases and would easy fetch $25.00 a piece without marks, as long as no damage is present. As for date and orgins it would just be a guess. Looks very french Victorian in style, however this style has been repeated over and over through the years. Sorry without marks not much can be concluded.

I suppose its totally possible that they dont have a makers mark?
Thanks for your reply tho.

Looks like style popular in the 50's - more of a modernized old fashioned look with all the extra gold paint.
