Title: Minton Tea Set
Post by: donnam on December 22, 2009, 07:51:14 PM
Been trying to research on Minton tea set I have and I am having no luck on the pattern markings;
Tea set of 8; Mintons with crown on top and England below [which I know was added sometime around 1890's];
marked with K352 and also has two other markings an X and the number 7; along with the distributor's name
Davis Callamore & Co, Ltd 7&9 East 52nd street New York [blue/gold pattern]

Would love some info on these or their markings and how best to appraise them.

I have researched but wanted to try a forum for more info.

Can you supply some photos? Front views and any markings. How do you know they are Minton?

I appreciate the information and will have my camera back this weekend, will take pics and display for futher review and information. These along with others I have from other makers have been stored for so long and are somewhat dirty, wandering if ok to handwash or just let them be.

Thanks again for all the help and information and hope to have pics soon.
