i(http:// have a old fashioned soda fountain with counter and stools. I inherited my family's drugstore and in it is the fountain! It is beautiful and with a few minor upkeep's is fully running. I was wondering how much its worth and how to go about selling it

Please, please, please....post pics!
We had one other person discuss about an ice cream set up they had in a home they bought - it was so-o-o-o-o-o-o-o neat - they finally decided to keep it!
Are you going to keep the store going?

I would love to re-open but in this economy the repairs to the building itself is overwhelming! I tried to add pics but they didnt show up. Any help??

ok so never mind it did work!! there are the pics!!

Wow, it would really be a shame to have to take that apart but there are brokers out there that deal in restaurant equipment that might be able to help you. Yellow pages.

Lots of people crave the nastalga of yester-year. You don't need to be in a high rent area either. I would think a good fresh burger and fries with a fountain drink would be a hit in most areas. Don't be fooled, not everyone is green or a vegan. If the fountain still works with a little TLC, I would think twice about selling it.

If it were anywhere near my auction house I'd say send it to auction. There would be a dozen people or more fighting for that.

Here is a 1950's one to make comparisons on ....

Are you going to sell the entire business?

I would love to not sell but the building is over 100 years old and the repairs on it are out of this world! So I am being forced to sell the building and the fountain

The fountain and other fixtures could be moved out of the delapidated building... ???
