I'd hazard a guess that your item might be a Turkish Ibrik , for rosewater .
-
fancy, never seen an ibrik this shape and this big (not to say that it isn't).
-
Seen some big ones in Istanbul ; some oldies & some tourist-o-rama-types too .
Lots of glass ones also , those being around 24oz or smaller .
-
How about a lesson for us less cultured bohemian types. What is a Turkish Ibrik? and it use for Rosewater. I will have to go surf a bit, but figured just maybe I'm not the only one that don't know what a Ibrik is.

MMMMM, Coffee, even learn how to make coffee using a Ibrik. Think I will stick to my double tall latte. Did find one that kinda look like yours but most was a tiny little pot with long straight handles. Anyone ever have Turkish coffee, and want to convience me to try?

This style looks more like an "old" Arabic coffee pot style to me or Iranian Copper Kettle!

In Turkey , 'Ibrik' is a word used to generally describe/classify a container with a long neck .
Westerners (& others) frequently use the word to describe coffee-related items from Turkey and other middle-eastern countries .
Ibrik are frequently used for dispensing water , tea and oils .
Some examples below .

I really like the last ibrik! You are feeling good today!
