i have an old table lamp, and can`not find out anything about.its 20"tall with the shade on.
the shade is about 13" across.it has glass panels.
the only letter i can find on it is (P) .THANKS for any help.

Beautiful!!!!!!!! appears to be slag glass and looks like art nouveau to me but lets see what the others think. Prices can run high on these knowing the maker will help greatly.

I doubt it's pewter. Is it a chain pull socket(s)? Did you check the inside lower rim of the shade for any signage? How many bulbs? Lots of those old slag glass lamps were unsigned. Kind of a unique lamp base structural design.
-
Can you post pics of the Socket and Cord? It may have been rewired, but in one pic looks like the socket is newer then early 1900's. I love the looks of the lamp and would guess the same. Maybe Socket and cord will help.

thank you all for your information,it has giving me some clues
to carry on the search.i will post some photos of the socket and cord
i think that they may have been replaced, they seem newer than the lamp. it has one bulb on the top,and a small one in the base.
the lights work. thanks again. joe.t

While these not the 'same' as yours, I'm seeing some similarities in the shades.....style wise. Both are listed 1910's to 1920's

"This is a vintage slag glass lamp with ornate smeltered metal frame and base. It appears
