My mother gave me some pieces of Italian dinnerware. I'm keeping some, but I have too much of it. I'm curious as to what its worth. If anyone has ANY information on any of the following please let me know.
I cant find any information on this dinnerware crafter...or anything.
For all i know it could be italian walmart brand :P
It is an old ceramic style...by old i simply mean worn out. Bumped and bruised. Please do not take the quality of it into account...im looking for a price quote for a new piece.
It is hand painted and handcrafted in italy. Decorations include a moon and star motif with scroll work along edges.
On the back there is a gold sticker that reads "LEONA" and under that it reads "Lavorato a mano, made in italy."
Can not post a picture yet as i just moved into the new apartment...where i unpacked this in the first place.
Thanks!!! ;D

sandramole, welcome to the forum.
We really need to see a picture.
Can tell you that "Lavorato a mano" mean handiwork.

Not finding it online at all. Even did a search in Italian. I'm going to call my mother about it later to see if she can narrow down where they came from. In the meantime I used my bad quality cellphone and snapped a few pics.
