Title: occupied japan mug

i have this mug..have no idea what it is or about..any help would be appreciated...its stamped on the bottom , hand painted,made in occupied japan. there is a small crest with an m and an s on it....thanks to all!!

Interesting mug.  Can you please post a picture of the bottom - so we can see the marks clearly.

I'm more than guessing your novelty 'Winking Man with Squrrel handle" Japanese Toby mug has the same mark as in the image below .

Perhaps , if you look very close on the handle , you may find the name "Carl" .

hello there...yes that is the exact markings on my mug...thats it....any idea if it has any value?  thanks so much!!

Value would really depend on the items' condition & would probably go from $10 - $20.00 range ... perhaps slightly more for a 100% perfect one .
