hi all this is a gun lighter and on the handle it says windsor-japan........any info on this? was my grandfathers...than ks!

Check to see if you have any markings on the bottom of the lighter unit itself (where you refill). This may lead to some clues, at least it will tell who made the lighter unit. Most likely the manufacture of the lighter and the decorative insert will be different. Kind of a unique item and many collectors of lighters. I know a guy at work tomorrow I will show this too him, he may have some more insite on the lighter.

BTW, I believe the term Flintlock (as in type of gun) will be helpful in your quest.
