I'm trying to figure out what this is and what it might be worth, your help is much appreciated. The wooden dowels are on barrings and they spin and the whole round part goes around powered by an electric motor and three v belts. I think its an antique.

It's a circa 1950's weight loss machine. The overweight person could sit on it as it revolves, lie with the stomach on the machine, well you get the picture. It wasn't cheap and didn't reduce very much fat... ;D

It's a foot massager. Worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

Arleigh, I tend to believe that the fat reducer is the correct answer....because I believe it is a rather large item.

However, could you please post the dimensions to verify or dispute the answer.
If it is small...then the foot massager could be a possibility.

I go along with the larger machine opinion (notice handles @ it's upper area) .
Some people were injured by these things , by facing the wrong direction - clothing got caught sometimes & would bang you around a bit .
Machine rollers should be used with the rollers going 'up' the body , towards head (no loose clothing either) .
Not a pretty picture , all in all .
I'd make out a bill of sale , stating non-responsibility for any injuries caused + as-is condition (CYA) .

thanks for bringing back the memory.
Im sure they advertised it as a body, leg, foot, everything massager. But it was big, and ultimately marketed as a weight reduction tool.
