Title: Could you help us identfy this chair
Post by: nickster60 on February 11, 2010, 08:43:08 AM
We have had this chair for awhile and really enjoy it. But we have never been able identify what kind of chair it is or what region it could be from.

Windsor in style with a brace back. fashioned after the Gothic Revival. looks to be 1930's. likely to have been made by one of the grand rapid chair co's. $75.00 to $125.00 Dollars.

I agree D&B.  Found one just like it in an abandoned shed on some property we bought back in the late 80ies.

I found the H stretcher to be of interest. these are commonly found  on Connecticut Valley, furniture. the remaining chair structure does not support that fact.
