My grandmother gave me her china many years ago and I'm trying to determine when it was produced. My searches online have only helped me determine that it was discontinued (I knew that) and that the factory was closed in 1980. The marking on it has been used since 1928 and perhaps only until 1968. It is Hertel Jacob Porzellan (776) Bavaria, Germany. It has fall colored leaves on it and rimmed with a thin gold band. Because no one in my family can recall when she received or bought this china, I want to see if it could have been a wedding present (one of my sisters thinks that it may have been). Thanks for any help.

If you go to Chris Marshall's website PorcelainMarksandMo re.com, and look in the Bavaria section under Rehau you will find information about this maker.

The maker is Hertel Jacob - maker of Porcelain (porzellan).
The Replacements LTD site is one you can go to and yours is there!
