Title: hi,does anyone know what this is?

i have taken this little bronze/enamelled box to a few antique dealers and no one knows what it is,it is around 6 cm longx3.5cm widex3.5 cm high.it has a hole cast in the side & a knob inside near the hinge.it has no marks,letters or numbers,just enamelled all over.any ideas? thanks for looking.

My best guess it that its a Snuff Box.

What is was used for?  I sure don'tknow.

You will be amazed at how elaborate these were an necessary for the "in" crowd!

Thanks for your good work KC,a snuff box seems to be general consensus,just getting into antique scene and i`m finding it very informative and rewarding!
