Title: I'm having trouble finding what style my new dresser is.
Post by: Cleveland on March 19, 2010, 11:07:14 AM
Hello, this is my first post on this forum, I recently purchased the dresser in the attached photos from a goodwill. I am not under the impression that it is of significant value, I am just looking for information on it's style or maker so that in the future I might be able to find pieces that are similar.  Thank you in advance if anyone is able to help me.

Welcome to the forum , Cleveland .

Nice little cabinet .

It appears to be 'flame walnut' veneer , with inlay work .

There was alot of flame walnut veneer , used in furniture between 1900 through 1950's or so .

I'd suggest you check out the item (everywhere) for any more clues about the manufacturer - often these style items had printed manufacturer logos & etc. stamped or branded on them .
