You have a wardrobe trunk. Most people call it a steamer.

Dose anyone know what that material around the edges is???
-
It is hard to tell in the photos, but probably rawhide. Is it the consistency of a rawhide dog chew? I have a trunk with that on around the edges.

Thanks talesofthesevenseas now that you say that I think thats what it is.

Dose anyone know what its worth redone and what its worth in its current condition.
-
In it's current condition maybe $30-$40. It would not be worth the money to have it redone, but if you do perhaps $60.
