Title: German watercolor
Post by: landrons on March 28, 2010, 03:25:16 PM
i found a small water color that is signed, but i cannot read the name.  It looks like B M...... but i'm really unsure.  It is a winter scene of 2 small cabins with hedges an a fence.  The background is a stormy grey color.  On the back left corner is a small stamped 'Germany'.  There is a water mark on the back, but i don't know if it is English.  The first word looks like woman, but that doesn't seem to make sense.  I would just like to find out if anyone could tell me something about it.  Thank You.

Hi landrons!

Could you take a pic of the watermark....or try and sketch it out as closely to true form, take a pic and post it?

Can't make out the signature in the RH corner by this pic.

Like the painting.  What are the dimensions?
