I bought this a few years ago when I was a teenager from an old ladys rummage sale. I have come across many like it but they are always beat up. Is that because mine is not that old like a remake or something? here are the pics.

Mostly likely many are still in good shape.......don't think the 'lady of the house' would have been
too keen on putting her to use!! :D

Your salt & pepper shaker is documented in Warman's antique & collectible 2010 price guide pg 693 c1950 made in Japan current value $75.00-$85.00 not bad for salt & pepper with a XXX rating ;)

Too much for me!
These were from the 50's. Don't agree on current market value....with this depressed market right now. I believe you would do good to get $30.

I'm with KC as to value, currently .
Perhaps they could fetch more if , say for instance , somebody wanted to buy them as a surprise for the pastors' table , at the church picnik ...
