Title: Rosenthal plate

I have a what my mother told me is a presidential plate with the markings on the back that says Rosenthal ''18''   Germany... I can't find anything that even half way looks like it so any help would be taken with a big thank you.  I do have photo's of the place front and back..  Could anyone give me an idea of where to look for info on this and what it might be worth.
