Hello,
I have trying to identify this item but am having some trouble doing so. I don't really know if it is a bed warmer, chestnut warmer or something you use for cooking. I have been searching on bed warmers but can not find anything like it. The plate is 8" and the total length is 13" long. The end of the handle has a rubber coating. On the bottom is says PLAQUE RADIANTE S/F 5th or 8th DEPOSE FRANCE. It may not be an antique, I am just not sure. Any help with this item would be great.
Thanks,
Richard

We had these growing up to use on a camping/gas grill to make the heat more even. You place it on the grill then put the pan on the piece.
Was very common in the 60's to see these items and is still used in by many campers.
