Hi everyone, I found something else interesting. This old cash register has been in my parents basement for years, I remember playing with it as a kid. Anyone have any info. on this one? Thanks!

My friend restores old National cash registers, nice old brass, sometimes you find information on those on the bottom of the drawer, might look there on that one. He says its a model 852, the XX means extra additional features were ordered on it when purchased. Made from 1920's to the late 30's and worth around $150.00

According to the serial number chart on this website, it was made in 1923

Somebody is selling one (same year and model) for $375. Seems a bit high.

We sold two of the nice early 1900's "Candy Store" brass registers,,the largest amount is a dollar,,,for $1300 each,,,they were fully restored and very collectible. The sheet metal versions dont have the same value.

Oddly enough, cash registers are quite collectible (don't ask me why)!
