Hi all!!!
I just recieved this interesting set from a family member and im looking for some info on it, and maybe an approximate worth??? Smiley

Neat set you've got there! The writing on the front of the larger figure is a famous Barvarian proverb about drinking, I was able to get that much, but I couldn't get a good translation online. Maybe someone else with better translation skills will have better luck?

Here's the translation:

Thank you. I was just wondering if anyone would know an approximate worth, and time it was made? or someone who could help me track down the history on this little guy  :)

I found an interesting hallmark database, but I didn't see yours listed. Maybe you'll have better luck with it than me.

They are called Blue Nippers and were made by a company called Schafer & Vater
