O.k. got me a curious little fancy dancy thingy koobob, and yes it looks like a cow. My question of course is what is this Cow used for, sure some of the more cultured folks can help. My lady says it is just a box, I'm sure there is something more sinster about this cow ;). Couple of curious things about this item. First it does not latch shut, looks like it was not made to latch close. The second is that deep inside there is a little hole that leads to the head, but no holes on the outside. The hole itself measures only 1" across, and the size of the beast is just 3 1/2" Long. O.k. any ideals?

This is a trinket box. All kinds of animals, flowers, items are made into trinket boxes. Cute and operational....most are not usable. They were originally made to hold rings. Now they are collectibles.

Here is the larger version of your cow. I think this is his Mamma. Looks like she comes with a milk can in her tummy (Yes, seriously!)

It is not just a box...it is a Holstein cowtainer for this, that, and the udder thing! I had to say that being as I reside in the Dairy State. ;D

LOL! ...and let's just hope he didn't get "milked" for too much money when he bought it!

:D :D :D It was utterly Cheap, ;) So If I got this right I have a early form of a stash box 8) Now I just have to figure out how to label this, " Holstein cowtainer for this, that, and the ( Udder thing ;) " ), proabably won't get the hits I need to get my $3.00 back on Ebay. So If I can't figure out what to call it I just might get "Milked"

Cute little piece of bovine-ature , ironlord1963 .
Sm. hole near head was for a vent for the hollow head , while in the kiln - used to prevent 'problems' as depicted in image below .
Just had to horn in on this one .
