Title: child's kitchen stove from 50's
Post by: anhouraweek on April 28, 2010, 09:57:08 AM
I was able to click a rather poor pic of this little stove with my cellphone last week when I was going through mom's estate.  This little stove is still fully working with oven and burners powered by electric.  The front panel says something about 'Cook and Cool' I believe.  Sis and I remember using this little stove all the time as young girls.  I have looked online for info, but just end up with lightbulb powered units.  Can anyone shed light on this little gem?

These little stoves were popular during the 20's to 50's.  There were lots of manufacturers (Empire, Orphan Annie, "Little Lady Ranges" Kensington/Lokomo Indiana, Girard Toys, Metropolitan Products, Wolverine, Argo Industries, etc.)

Yours most surely is made by Empire. Here is another one like it
