Title: interesting oil painting of old time wine flask

Interesting find..

could not find any info on the signature "Range" or was I spelling it wrong

the painting has cracks and chips all over however I think its interesting subject to look at?

Might the 'G' be a 'H' or even a 'Y'?  It looks like it is painted over plaster or something.  I would think that a rough surface like that would have been tough to paint on.  Maybe it is a certain style or country that used that method.  If you like it, hang it on the wall and enjoy it.  I enjoy many different styles of art but folk art is my favorite.
