Hello everyone i just found a antique drafting set made by Post model 1148 reserve drafting set .It has the original cardboard box and the case and tools are in excellent condition. Any info would be greatly appriciated

Are you able to post any pictures of your set? Can you find any dates or patent numbers anywhere on the box or on the set? Sometimes numbers are hard to find but they help a lot! :)

Is it like one of these? If so, it's value is right around $20-$30. Still trying to find company info though.

Howdy & welcome to the forum , mpc003 .
The Frederick Post Co. was formed in Chicago in the late 1890's .
They sold , among other things , drafting instruments that were originally manufactured in Germany , sometimes adding machine-stamped logo or name "Post" to the imported tools .
Pretty popular line of drafting suppiles & such , in its' hey-day .
