Title: Grand Ledge Chair Co Rocker
Post by: mkcg_giftlady on March 16, 2004, 01:14:04 PM
Going through family items, I found a rocking chair that is labeled "Grand Ledge Chair Co., Grand Ledge, MI"  On the internet I learned that this company moved to Grand Rapids in 1890 and changed their name, so this rocker is probably quite old.  Does anyone know where I can find information on the value of this chair?  It is in very good shape with the exception of the seat support, which is tin.  Someone obviously stepped in the middle of the seat and bent the tin.  Digital images can be provided.

Thanks for any help you can offer. :D

is it possible to post a picture here? I have seen tin bottom's on country chest's to keep mice out but not a chair.
