Title: Goldman Sachs Bronze Box..any ideas?
Post by: mikea142 on July 12, 2010, 07:55:41 PM
Hey guys,

I picked this up at a garage sale and cannot find anything close to a lead on what it may be or if its worth anything. Any ideas? The box is made of brass and the inside black felt. You can see what is engraved on the front.

Thanks

What you appear to have is a box used for holding debenture certificates.

It's not really unusual for financial big-shots to have a box engraved for holding (the dough does not come out of their pockets to do so); usually kept in a vault.

Welcome to the forum, BTW, mikea142.
