Title: Kent Coffey 3pc bedroom set
Post by: Shirlanda Kidd on July 16, 2010, 08:13:26 PM
Hello everyone here. I have a 3pc Kent Coffey 1950's La Fayette model # 4102.(I think made in 1954) bedroom set.  Dresser, chest and one end table.  Dark cherry wood with carved sides and legs.  In good condition with a little discoloration on top of all three pieces. (such as a little water marks etc...but once polished up you can't hardly see it.) I paid about $1,050 for the 3pc about 4 years ago. Would like to sell it but have no idea how much it would go for today. Can anyone out there help me out...PLEASE!!! Need to sell by July 31...I'm moving and don't need to take it with me. Thanks! ???

Posted this question about my 3pc bedroom set yesterday but just posted the pictures today. Would you still say $500.00 or more? My best friend wants to buy it for $800.00 should I sell or wait for a better offer?  :-\

I'd take your friends offer for $800, from the research I've done it seems the Kent Coffey Perspecta line is the rarest of the KC lines, items from the Eloquence and La Fayette lines are still pretty hard to find but are also a bit lower in value.
Hope this info helps, Good Luck...:D
