Title: American Cookware Cast Iron skillet.

Does anybody know any history behind the company "American Cookware" ?  Our skillet is about 18 inches, and is very heavy.  Has a ship on the back and is similar to the smaller one I found at http://www.thathomesite.com/forums/load/cookware/msg0900475424393.html?6 .


Any information would be appreciated. I only have bought cast iron from Lodge now.

The forum on this site can help you. They have been very helpful to me with cast iron cookware. They collect all kinds of it.
