Hey everyone, I found this in my latest trip to my parent's basement. This is a hand carved pipe that has to be from the '40's. It was bought either in Arizona or Mexico when my grandma took my mother their on vacation. I've tried to Google it (or ones like it) and tried Ebay to see it's value and I am coming up short. The only one similar I've found to it I had to join the auction site to find the selling price. Any ideas or tips? Thanks so much!!!

Very Unique to say the least, I really like it. Back in the day I would of really liked it :o

My barber had a few of those from a collection he bought and while they were neat, he said they were not worth much or that old. European and maybe German or Italian I think he said. Price range $50-100. I looked them up on eBay at the time (about 2 years ago) and there were some selling on there then.

Found some listed here.......

At least one is attributed to Italy. Also ran across one on Proxibids. though that sold for only $2.50.
Very unique look, but I think you'd need an interested collector to get the $$ some are asking.

Well, what a bummer! I thought I had something really cool and unique! Goes to show me ya never know. Thanks for those links, I couldn't find those by myself.

krickard, you do have something very unique.
It's a crazy collector's market out there. Unique or rare doesn't necessarily translate into $$$$$$$$$$.
Still a tremendous conversation piece!
