I have a set of tables that came from my husband's grandparents. We have no idea where they came from but they got the tables used. I was going to refinish them, but wanted to know if they were antique or not. Does anybody know any thing about these tables?

Welcome!!!! NICE TABLES!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you post some closer shots and undersides? On the middle one can you please pull out a drawer and take a pic of the side of the drawer?
Unless you really know what you are doing...please wait for all of the information on these before you refinish!!!!!!!

this set of tables. dates to the 1930's early 1940's. the coffee table is designed after Duncan Fife. as is about $150.00 Dollars. the other two tables are known as ''Spider Leg'' tables. the two tier being a Dessert Table. about the same value per table.
As to refinishing. I see no problem.

Welcome, redphantom.
Missing pieces of veneer can be a problem to match exactly, and dealing with what looks like leather insets on the tops of your tables can be too ($$$).
I agree that your pieces are candidates for a face-lift, and if done properly will increase the life & value of your set.
