My husband and I also found this today in a shop. We're not usually basket people, but my husband liked this one, and we got it for only $2, so figured we couldn't go wrong. ;) It's 5 in tall, and 5 1/4 in across. It's in really good shape, just a little dusty. Does anyone have any info on it?? Thanks!!

I have an identical one. Same exact shape/size/pattern. Mine was given to me, but before that it was a thrift store find. I don't think it's very old.

I am echoing talesof reply...I have 2 that are shorter but same weave, recent and very inexpensive. Probably "made in China" origin but sticker is missing. I see these frequently at garage sales for 25c-50c.
