Title: Wood Cased Floor Radio

Hello I just resonantly bought a house just over a year ago and the previous owners left behind a old unit and I was just wondering if it had any value.

Here is the information that's on the back of it as well as pictures..

Hey darreng,
Does everything work on it? If so, it's worth about $100-$150 in my area. If it doesn't work at all, it's probably worth about $0-$25. These old phonograph/radios are pretty hard to sell because they are so big, bulky and outdated. They are mostly used for storage or side tables now. I think they are cool pieces of history. But unfortunately most people don't.  :-\

These were called console stereos and were the rage in the 50's to late 60's.

The market is so up and down you would have to look at your area.  Some people buy to rework the cabinetry.

Yeah, definitely do a quick serach on your local craigslist. I just checked mine and they go for between $10 and $75 in working condition. Yours is pretty nice though, not ugly and gaudy like some.
