I inherited a framed baby picture from my grandmother. The face and hands appear to be cut out from cardboard, there is a blanket in the frame and real hair.
I know that my grandmother had 2 of these types of pictures and I know that she lost 2 babies (stillborn). If these pictures are related to those babies, they would be dated around 1918-1920. I know that the hair is not the hair of these babies.
Has anyone ever seen pictures like these? Can you give me any information on them?
Thank you.

:o your' grandmother would have been raised in a time when these were popular. their called mourning picture's. it's value would be $125.00 dollars. but at the right auction. you could double that value.
