I did a search of finished auction on ebay... here are the results:
http://search-completed.ebay.com/search/se...rt&BasicSearch= (http://search-completed.ebay.com/search/search.dll?MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&query=gilbert+erector&cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2F&ht=1&from=R10&currdisp=2&itemtimedisp=0&st=2&SortProperty=MetaEndSort&BasicSearch=)
You will notice that that there were over 300 auctions returned! thats a lot of erector sets!
It would appear that a average 30s vintage Gilbert Erector set goes for approx $100 to $200 dollars, depending on the condition, model, and completentess.
