I have a 1947 General Electric television. It stands upright about 36" tall, with a 9" screen. I'd like to know what the original wood would have been, and I'd also like to know what kind of finish they used then. Was it a clear finish? Glossy? Satin? If anyone has any information regarding this particular TV, I'd appreciate your input. Thanks.
