Another item from FIL's storage unit. This one cleaned up nicely! It's about 6.75" high, and has the numbers "234" hand-carved into the bottom. There is a chip off the pouring spout's lip. Any idea on value? -- because if it's not too-too valuable, I want to use it to hold kitchen utensils.

My personal opinion is, with the chip in the pouring spout, to use it to hold your kitchen utensils. If it had/has value, much was lost with the chip.

I agree, and a good suggestion passed on to Wdtanner. It should look nice on the dresser stuffed with whatever..

Yup chip on spout (not like having a flea bite on the bottom ) value to collectors not much ----- unless it was brought over by the pilgrims!! :D

Has a yellow ware appearance to it.

Thanks, everyone!
