Title: Help identifying dresser lamp
Post by: barrytrains on October 25, 2010, 05:08:59 AM
HI

My parents were married in 1940 and received a pair of dresser lamps either then or in 1946 when they set up housekeeping in their own house.  I never saw these lamps with anything but a cheap paper shade but i suspect at some point they had either fringed shades or possibly even glass shades.

If anyone can help, I would like to know who made these lamps, when, and what kind of shades are correct or what would be satisfactory.  I would like to buy matching shades but don't want a substitue if the correct ones can be identified and hopefully found.

I will try to insert an image but I can also send one to a direct email if this does not work out.  (My first post, sorry for any technical errors.)

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Barry,
Not quite sure what has happened with your post, but we seem to have problems accessing the photos.
Go to the top of this forum for advice on how to post pics.
Welcome and all the best
