I'm trying to find a value for this murano glass sculpture. the only similar things I have found are:

This is what I found on A.VE.M

It seems that murano glass is all over the scale on price ranges. I know nothing about murano glass, but in the contemporary fused glass world, dichroic glass is more expensive and has a very similar look to the gold in my statue... I don't even know how to go about putting a value on this thing! ??? It's about 7" tall...

Apologies, I can't quite make it out, is it a concertina player?

i posted on this site as well...

yes it's confusing...either that or it's a hand muff. The suspender getup looks German...I think?
-
That was the other thing that crossed my mind. The Alpine get-up makes it difficult to determine the sex in those photos. It's a Venetian piece so the influence could easily be Swiss/Austian/German ... But if its male, I don't think it'll be a muff

someone sent me this link from the other forum:

The musicians here look like better quality pieces. According to them, the prices on these two were probably exaggerated and the AVEM pieces do not fetch the same kind of money...

Found another along those lines.......
