I remember when my Mother glued hundreds of ring-necked pheasant body feathers on two hats in the early 60s.  She wore them for awhile and then they went out of style.  They were a closer to the head type of hat and not tall like this one.  I can see some pheasant feathers on yours marcy.

My MIL loves these vintage hats and jewelry.  She has a case in an antique shop but can hardly stand to part with any of them.
