Title: Help with this piece please

Got this little item in a box of stuff at an auction, Ive tried to look it up on the internet with no luck because I dont know what it is called, my guess a piece you put on a taper candle maybe? Any input, thoughts would be greatly appreiated. Thank you.

Yes, you are correct ssheri.  The elf fits over a tapered candle.  I am not sure what they call them either but you might try "candle elf" in a search.

Wayward is right... we call them candle pixies, an even huggers..... some of the earlier ones are collectable, so if it has a stamp on the base you may be able to identify it.

I would not have known what they were, ... but now I do. And no doubt or surely I've seen one before.
