Title: Framed Horse Heads
Post by: troyintahoe on January 08, 2011, 08:15:36 PM
I have seen a few of these out there. Mine are the most detailed I have seen. I'm guessing they are German. No markings

 Thought's, Values?     Thanks Troy

I believe your piece was sculpted by Gladys Brown Edwards and produced by the  Ray E. Dodge Factory 1934 to around 1960. I would guess to a collector of her work  low end $150.00 each. I know she sculpted models for another company also but can't recall the name. Detail on these pieces can vary due to much detail was lost after several castings and new molds/ models needed to be used.

Thanks Wendy!    They were purchased used, around 1950. My guess is these are some of the very early heads.
