Where do You advertise your antique items? (Outside Ebay) Do you know any forums to do that?

I have found a few sites, but as You have said before, you must be careful.
First is http://www.advertisingantiques.co.uk (it's for all kind of antiques) I've got few watchers for my item from here.
Second is http://www.gardenweb.com also not bad.
Both are active.

Depending on what you are selling,, you might also check specialty sites that deal with only those types of items.

You might be surprised at the number of speciality sites for china or pottery bowls !!  Look it up by the maker.  Usually the maker is on the bottom of the bowl !!

Before I found this forum, I posted a couple of things in the GardenWeb antiques forum. At that time at least, it seemed to be monopolized by one non-expert person who would give her opinion on the age/value of antiques. I wasn't too impressed with some of her assessments, she seemed to have very little research to back anything up. I got the feeling she was flying by the seat of her trousers, so to speak. Differing opinons seemed quite unwelcome, as the whole thing was kind of her show. Maybe things have changed, I never went back to check.
