Hi,
Can anyone help me determine the age, a little history, and value of an Ed Roos Co. Cedar Chest? It is a simple design and among the information burned into the bottom is "No - 4202 -" and "Mahogany". The chest is solid and the inside very clean. The outside has some scuff & scratchs and the Sealtite (Ed Roos Trademark) felt is gone. The lock key is missing and the inside tray has a split where two pieces of cedar panels are connected.
Does anyone know what the number 4202 is?
What components of a cedar chest would be made of Mahogany?
Any idea what this might be worth? I'm guessing around $350.
Thanx much,
Doug
