Cleaning out the grandparents cottage and decided to take home this coffee urn. Has been at the cottage since my father can remember. Family is more curious as to where it came from or more info on it as I dont expect it to have much of any value.
Couldnt find any info really on it searching the web and the mfg (Blickman) hasnt returned my email.
Heres what it says:
NAVY STANDARD COFFEE URN
20 GALLON DATE 1918
S.BLICKMAN NEW YORK , NY
Appears to be aluminum with steel legs and has been modified over the years.
Anyone has the slightest ideas about this piece? Thanks in advance :)

Might not help but usstorsk.org is looking for a coffee urn. Its a sub that has been decommissioned and they are trying to replace items taken out and used on other subs. They might tell you about your urn. Or know a historian that can. They have an email address at the site. Not sure the urns changed a lot over the years.. I was looking for info and found that site,,guess it still works !!
