Title: Early American Pewter Teapot

It appears I have an early American pewter teapot made by G Richardson in the 1800's. It is in really good condition. One of the antiques handed down to me by my father last year that I am beginning to research. Any pewter experts around? Maybe not worth a ton of money, but it is very cool.

I'm not an expert, but I found your teapot online without any difficulty. Great piece, love these early ones like yours! Looks like it was made between 1818 and 1845. The example here, which looks to be the same model as yours is selling at $495. I saw other examples of Richardson's pewter teapots on Ebay going for somewhat less.

It does look almost identical. No genie in it. I checked.
